Here’s Why Love and Loss Are Your Greatest Inspiration

Don’t shy away, embrace them both

Where in your body do words come from?

My ethereal body. The Mercurial messenger God, Hermes.

The words dance forth, shifting, bending, and twirling about like choreography.

Where is your source of inspiration located?

Within the possibility of love. Without the possibility of love.

Gratitude for the life I’ve manifested.

Otherwise, Egypt. A country I identify so wholly with that I cannot tell myself apart from it.

Who are you without the people, places, and experiences that shape you?

I do not know.

I know that love and loss, are the great motivators.

I know that loss defines how deeply you’ve loved, and love defines how it will shatter you in the end.

I know that weddings make you cry with joy at the edge of a beautiful vista.

I know that death unearths you as you spiral through the cosmos.

This I know.

Forgiveness and letting go
