How love becomes unbearable,
Is a mystery of the heart,
Once so sweet and so enjoyable,
Now tearing us apart.

Love, a tender flame that warms the heart,
But when unrequited, it breaks apart.
Once a sweet melody, now a bitter tune,
As it swells and grows, like a rising moon.

It starts with a flutter,
A feeling so warm,
A connection so deep,
Our hearts begin to form.

The days pass by,
Our love starts to grow,
We’re lost in each other,
As our affection starts to flow.

But love has a dark side,
That’s difficult to see,
It starts to become overwhelming,
And consumes you and me.

The heart beats fast, the mind in a haze,
As love becomes unbearable in many ways.
The longing, the ache, the endless pain,
As the heart cries out in vain.

The memories that haunt, the dreams that shatter,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to matter.
The tears that fall, the sighs that heave,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to believe.

The days that pass, the nights that linger,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to gather.
The hope that fades, the faith that wanes,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to retain.

The heart that breaks, the soul that weeps,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to keep.
The love that was, now a distant memory,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to bury.

Love, a beautiful flower that blooms,
But when it fades, it brings gloom.
Once a bright light, now a dark abyss,
As love becomes unbearable, it’s hard to miss.
