How to Return to Your Center
Simple practices that are available to everyone.
You were born present. You knew nothing about the past or future. Only the present moment mattered.
As you grew, you learned language and how to communicate your wants and needs. The past becomes a filter of your present moment. The future beckons you with anticipation.
Babies grow up to be adults. Presence is saturated with other needs and wants and you forget who you really are.
Adults suffer from spiritual amnesia.
When you are ensnared in the worries of your world, you forget who you really are.
When all of your thoughts focus on perceived problems and worry is your constant companion, amnesia takes over. Your attention is directed outside of yourself, and your intention is to solve the dilemma.
That focused attention and intention on an external threat or painful situation creates your world. Everything becomes one dimensional and your power to create is used to solve and survive.
Spiritual amnesia is the result.
How can you find your way out of the maze? Through breath work, meditation, and a physical tool that is ancient and mysterious.
