In the tapestry of butterfly wings
I see God’s canvas
It is here
Where we are beckoned
To cast our eyes towards beauty

And understand
Our eyes do not deceive us
In the presence of this small masterpiece
God’s extraordinary work
Elaborate yet simple

A reminder that all creation
Both the great
And the small
Are magnificent
In their delicate beauty

Art in life form
Or perhaps life in art form
Or perhaps both
Yes both
An echo and reflection

The many colors
Working in tandem fashion
Contrast
And collaboration
In equal measure

With a reminder
That if we acknowledge
When we rest in each other’s presence
We are in fellowship
With greatness
