Is Anyone Else in A Panic Because They’re Running Out Of Time?
The quality matters more than the quantity
I’m running out of time.
Time waits for no one.
I’ve struggled with these sentences over the past few weeks.
Some days I disagree with them but on others, I have to agree. Especially as I get closer to the big 30.
Finally, I found the truth.
Yes, time is running out and it waits for no one.
But that isn’t the real problem
Which Time is Worth More to You?
Why do we feel like we’re running out of time?
Because we place more value on the time we haven’t spent yet instead of on the time we’re spending now.
For example,
- You tell your children, I’ll play with you tomorrow
- You save your new dress for next month.
- You postpone visiting your parent or being kinder to your friends
- You promise to start your personal project after you rest from the stressful week at work
I hope you see the pattern?
