All is not
about me.

It’s about All
of us –
light sockets sharing
deep space starring

archetypes.
Even the wax in our ears
is veined with stars.
As shape-shifting
as Dali’s clocks.
A Q-tip,
our brush and wand.

Quit Taking It Personally,

the spelled-out spell
whose magic artistry
and majesty
we rarely welcome
or walk on our knees
in pilgrimage
to hear.
