A (humorous) acronym for MOM and a new sleep trend
I’m a mom and have been for 25 years. As my children have transitioned to adulthood, the acronym for MOM has also changed. When my kids were small, MOM stood for:

Now that my kids are older, MOM currently means:

Mouth
In other words, I strive to keep opinions about how my adult children choose to conduct their lives private. Giving unsolicited advice or gossiping about loved ones is a surefire way to shut down lines of communication.
I never thought I’d literally use the second acronym (Masking tape on mouth). However, here I am, plunging into the newest trend to improve sleep since Xanax.
In my Google search for “how to improve sleep quality,” I found minimal information on who to credit for inventing mouth taping for better sleep.
