Maybe, It’s Really about a Law of Mindfulness

Mindful expressions create attraction

Acceptance is the first key point the Law of Attraction. Accepting the moment of where you are, without judgement, opens your world to new possibilities. If you deny your present condition and feelings, you simply cannot attract new circumstances.

Awareness of all the experiences that make up who you are paves the way for acceptance. Our present moments are built upon our thoughts about our past and our future. It creates feelings that we have attached to each of those thoughts.

Simply changing our thoughts is not enough. Our energy lies within our feelings and reactions, not simply the words we think about. Our minds are amazing machines. In an instant, we think a thought that is built upon words and we attach a feeling, a perspective and a memory, either consciously or subconsciously, through our senses. Our senses react by creating a feeling within our bodies.

Years ago, I realized that I was taught, along with many others, to live life backwards. Take the desire and turn it into a goal. Work hard and learn to do what everything necessary to achieve the goal. At the end, when all that is achieved, I will have the life I want.

I had to change my way of thinking to create a life I wanted in the present moment. Learning to do what is necessary to create happy moments mixed in with the day-to-day truth of my situation. It is then, at a moments notice, you realize you are walking toward your goals and desires.

Present moment mindfulness is the practice of awareness, focused attention, and acceptance. It provides an opening to find the beauty in all things. Beauty seeking is the second key of the law of attraction.

Life has two sides to everything. Good and bad, dark and light, joy and sadness, and love and hate. Finding balance in the middle of each of those sides is where mindfulness can help.

What you are perceiving depends on which side you are looking at. Just because you stop to smell a rose, doesn’t mean life is rosy. But when you look for the beauty, it can balance the two sides.

Many people become frustrated at their lack of progress simply because they have gotten the order of manifestation wrong. I know I was. My life continued in the perpetual loop of “not enough.” I was doing all the “right” things, yet things weren’t changing. Thinking all the positive thoughts, writing all the affirmations, learning all the right techniques, going after all the proper certifications and trainings, reading all the popular books, writing all the precise words, yet, I certainly didn’t have the beautiful life I wanted or desired.

Judging myself, experiences, and other people, held me back from seeing the beauty I already had. Non-judgment, the third piece of the mindfulness component, has been a difficult transition for me. The negative self-talk critic is extremely judgmental of me. This is where I had to learn trust. Trusting the voice of my intuition rather than the voice of my past experiences came only when I realized it was my higher self energy talking.

Creating a best friend relationship with that energy provided me with immediate and insightful help for the challenges of my everyday living. We feel and just know the possibilities are waiting for us, but too often our old patterns of thinking and doing are based on black and white judgments we gathered along the way. It just keeps us arguing within ourselves and that creates mixed messages not guidance. That mixed message energy is where fear, anxiety, and loneliness lingers.

The third key to the law of attraction is all about you. It is the root system of your inner wisdom. It unfolds as you begin to you realize that the past, future, and present moment are intertwined. The foundation of your inner spirit brought you to this moment. The multi-facets of your personality, your heart, and your values were not aligned. Using awareness, I can choose to change my viewpoint of what I called character defects or limited beliefs. They were simply jumbled messages that conflicted with what I wanted for myself.

As we grow and evolve we can find out that sometimes our personality is not enough to support our expanded, abundant inner self. We fear the possibility of true prosperous living because our old patterns of thinking and doing no longer work for us and we have yet to trust our expanded beliefs. We fear that letting go of old attachments and behaviors will cause losses and pain.

My moments of intuition, my sporadic connection to my higher self, and my artist within, were all like guardian angels that played a big part in my survival. They kept me on my path when I wasn’t ready to receive my dreams. Actually, thinking about it, that lined right up there with releasing the judgments of myself.

What I have discovered in my mindfulness journey is the letting go of attachments and judgments seems to come without the same struggle as I used to have. It creates a loving formula of release. It helped me find a way to navigate my day to day reality of living while also coming out of my self imposed shell.

A manifesting mindset comes when we begin to live life by mindful expressions. When we express ourselves with words, actions, and feelings that are aligned, we receive the rewards of our walk toward our manifested dreams. That is the dance of passion and purpose. Each time we release a judgment, a fear, or an attachment, we free our energy to expand.

We need to do the same freeing acts for receiving. Think of it as ordering from the universal menu. Order whatever you wish and it will be brought to you, sometimes on a silver platter. But if you order something less than you wish based on a budgeted belief of receiving, that is what you will be served to you. We also have to remember that the silver platter meal sometimes takes longer to cook.

Take a moment today and sit in your favorite chair, imagining what your silver platter order would be. Place your order with awareness and focus while sitting in your present moment. Hear the sounds around you. Feel you heartbeat as you place the order. Release the judgment of not having enough as you place your order. Now open your arms and affirm, I am ready to receive. Lastly, release it all into the air with no attachment to time frames or the how it will arrive. Take three deep breaths and go back to your average day to day. Let me know how it works for you!
