No, You’re Not Crazy
The antidote is not what you think
Not that you need my permission, but
Let’s let this be your permission to step back, sit back, breathe, and recognize the space that exists between you and your attachments to the world
cuz there’s some crazy shit happening.
like all the time.
It feels like a firehose of crazy on a house that’s burning with crazy. Emergency vehicles are on their way to everywhere all at once, driving around in circles on their ways to places they aren’t and not doing anything for anyone where they are. It’s a damn shame.
No, you’re not crazy.
The task seems overwhelmingly overwhelming. Most of us were corralled into cubbyholes to check administrative boxes and didn’t learn as children to solve real world problems. We learned that learning was for grades more than it was for utility or mastery and that mediocrity was so much more than acceptable, it was expected because mediocrity meant safety.
The world is not that way, unless you don’t want to grow out of entry level positions.
No, you’re not crazy.
You’re waking up. You’re waking up, again and again, to The Fall that humanity seems to be unable to lift itself out of.
