“I do not want much. Truly. Just a place to call home. With beds and sofas of sweet love. A place where the joys at least, outnumber the tears a bit.”
These are the words and longings of my heart most nights before sleep comes to shut these eyes. I seldom become weary of the life I lead. Tired of pointing fingers whether to self or another — whatever it may be.
Danielle Ratliff poem touched me. It reminds me of the lyrics of James Arthur song, Can I Be Him;
I swear that every word you sing, you wrote them for me
Like it was a private show, I know you never saw me
When the lights come on and I’m on my own
Will you be there to sing it again?
Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories
Can I be him?
Every word she, (Danielle Ratliff) wrote I could swear was written for me. She plucked them from the depth of my soul in a bid to give me hope. Knowing she understands even though she doesn’t know me, is a huge comfort to my weary soul.
I think in life, sometimes we do not seek one to take our problems away. We simply wish to find someone who truly understands the pain. It helps to soften the blows.
Are you going through a tough time? Are you feeling like you should be further ahead to reach your goals? If yes, you need a dose of Danielle Ratliff poem.
I owe you guys an apology. You didn’t demand it. I give it regardless.
I’ve been passively off lately. That’s the reason why I haven’t been publishing a lot and engaging a lot. Even this bulletin took a hit. But am back now — I hope. I’m looking forward to getting inspired, educated and entertained by your stories and creativity.
So please do enjoy the reads… and remember that as a family here in KTHT, we are all striving for clarity and meaning to help us pave the way for a better life.

I do read a lot of articles on the platform, and I enjoy every one of them. These do not stand as the best, but rather as among the many ones that stood out for me. It was a tug of war picking these into the five lists. I do not want to make the list bulky or tedious to read. That’s why I am leaving it at just five. Until next week, let’s keep growing and the platform flourishing.
