Purify
a poem
phantom tears
wash me free
purifying the void
inside of me
crying out the pain
no one to blame
for with in this fire
I reign this domain
I am the infinite
I begin again, and again
I am the strength the pillar stands
tall, proud and sovereign
cleansed from the red
my divinity is fed
filled to the rim
this overflowing chalice
for which I bled
my heart beats
attuning to the earth’s tempo
learning to let go
undulating all the sorrow
while embracing
all the tomorrows
in ghostly, crystalline drops
the saltine tracks don’t define me
but cleanses my soul
as I make my own destiny
