.A few nights ago, I experienced a dream; yet it was more than a dream. It was as vivid as what I might call yesterday, doing whatever I do in this world. I was in a house with some friends, and all of a sudden, a presence full of spite and malevolence attacked, and its darkness threw a cloak of fear around us all. I tried to utter mantras or visualize white light around me, but the fear was so intense, so overwhelming, my mind wavered in despair. Just when I thought I would be consumed by the fearful presence, from my voice flew the names: Ramana! Ramana! Ramana! Christ! Christ! Christ! And the fear flew away like a shadow from light. And the house was cleared of the darkness; and my friends and I celebrated our freedom.

Separate;
You are alone.

Together;
You are never alone.

If there is a me and a you,
Then your world will be a fearful world.

Rely not upon your mind
To bring you peace in such a world.

For the mind is nothing more than a sword,
Dividing and defining.
