She’s the Good One (A Poem)
An introduction of ME to myself.

She is the good one
Because she cares!
She is kind to herself.
She can breathe in dark clouds,
And walk down the scariest alleys.
She believes in herself.
She's resilient.
You push her down, and she might shed a tear,
but she stops,
takes a deep breath,
and pulls her body back up.
She thuds her feet on the ground,
and gives you a stare,
that says – try again!
She won’t growl at you,
but her stare will kill you.
She won’t surrender,
but her humbleness will suffocate you.
You saw her kindness as her weakness,
but she uses it as her strength.
So, she is humble
and down to earth.
She cares
and forgives.
She patches you up when you scratch your skin.
She inhales the air and exhales beauty,
Beauty - that she holds within.
She laughs and fills the room.
She walks and turns all eyes.
She owns herself, head to toe.
She fills herself with encouragement,
Every day.
She cries,
She gets scared,
But she never gives up!
Why?
Because She-
Is a Hero for herself!
Now you’ll ask me,
And so I declare.
You’ve met her.
She is ME!
It’s nice to meet you!
