Spring Poem

Spring is here.
Buds swell, frogs bellow
Wobbly-legged lambs frolic,
Cultured pearls of innocence.

Lace coverlet of plum blossoms
Embellishes spring verdure.
Sun-colored dandelions
Embroider soft green grass.

Red and yellow tulips
Join in their clandestine attempt
To soften even the coldest of hearts.
Redolent, fluttering, glistening

Spring is here.
