Have you ever wondered why some specific thoughts keep jumping into your head and keep bothering you, yet you can’t stop or get rid of them?

Those thoughts of yours could be tied to a previous event in which you might have experienced a failure, a fear that has made a place in you, an insult, your mistakes, or you might have lost something precious.

These thoughts keep appearing because you do not have a definite answer to those events, and you might be still figuring out as why they happened to you. You may have numerous reasons for them, but you do not have one definite answer to them.

Whereas in the case of happy moments, when the thoughts related to them pop up, they bring joy to you. That's because you know the reason behind them and have a definite answer to them.

This is what your mind does to you as part of its functioning; it keeps pushing the thoughts for which it doesn't have an answer, and it will never stop those thoughts unless it finds an answer.

The only way to stop them is to give your mind a firm reason. When those thoughts appear, never say why to them. As you say why, it will make your mind keep searching for the reasons, which can be many in your mind, but your mind needs a fixed one.

If you say to your mind, Okay, this is the reason for my memories, then your mind will take it as an answer to those thoughts. And when you keep repeating it, your mind will lock it, and it will stop those thoughts pushing at you.

You can find a firm reason for your memories by either picking a random reason and making it the final one or by actually finding the real one.

The real answer might reside in your inner core if it's you who has made a mistake. And if it's an external pain from others, then it's they who need to answer, which they might never do. All you can do in such situations is convince your mind that they do not deserve you.

Find that one reason for all your unstoppable thoughts and put a full stop to them.
