Stop Trying to Manifest Your Ex Back
Why are you attracting your own misery?
I was on Youtube last night and came across a video of a young girl “teaching” others how to manifest their ex back. She used a technique called the 369 method which is basically a way of scripting out your desires by affirming them over and over again.
Now, the video did make me feel some kind of way but the comments really threw me for a loop.
There are hundreds of young girls praising the creator of the video and feeling as if they’ve won the lottery with this new information they’ve learned.
Listen, I’m not judging. You can do whatever you want with your life. But my writing serves to uplift and empower people and hopefully, it will do so for some people out there.
I obviously support teaching others how to manifest — that’s literally what my page is about. But there are different types of manifestation that people don’t really talk about.
Yes, we have the power to create our own reality and attract our desires, but I feel like we neglect our own wellbeing in the process sometimes. When people get a glimpse of what they’re capable of, it’s like they push their own feelings to the side just so that they can get what they want.
Don’t Ignore Yourself
When you’re manifesting your ex back, you’ll feel relief at that moment because you feel like you can attract whatever you want. But at some point, you need to take a step back and see the bigger picture.
Look at how you’re treating yourself.
I know from experience toxic relationships are painful but also oddly addicting at the same time. You might’ve broken up with your significant other because the relationship was draining for you and now, you miss them. You miss the toxicity and want them back in your life.
This is a great example of self-sabotage. By willingly letting someone toxic walk back into your life, you’re unintentionally destroying yourself from the inside out.
You need to realize that not everyone is good for you even if it may feel like it. The truth is you know they’re no good, but the thought of finding something better scares you because…
