The Art of Being Alone: My Love for Solitude

I love to be alone.

Hey, I didn’t say I was lonely.

I cherished solitude and loved it from a very young age.

I’ll say this because it’s better than having a bunch of heads around me every time.

Every day, I spend time with myself, with no phone or internet and no friends to chill out with.

Being with myself is special because someone once told me everything is inside us, even the world we see, the food we taste, and the smell we have.

So it became important to understand β€œthe complete me.”

It’s a space where I recharge myself and reconnect with who I am.

When I am with myself, I can feel everything that goes inside me β€” my thoughts, how I am feeling, whatever I am experiencing. I observe them all.

Solitude has given me clarity about the decisions I make.

I am now more aware of the underlying reasons behind everything around me.

And, it’s the best part, no matter what we do β€” when we practice this and apply it as part of our daily routine, we get to the root of every problem and emotion…
