The Calm After The Storm

When everything settles!

Things will settle down

it won't keep stirring all the time

the nature of life is such

after a storm,

there's always a strange calm

and when I look deeply into the calm

I may find silence

If I stay with that silence for long enough

I may become the silence

but what is becoming silence

for me, it is a space of deep rest

a space to go to frequently

so that I can find it easy

to release me from the storm

every time I enter a storm

The power of silence.
