Though forms may transform, love’s essence remains, a constant in life’s ever-flowing stream.

Many love, like a river’s flow,
Ever changing, yet ever so.
From a trickle to a raging tide,
Love’s currents forever abide.

Like a flower, love blooms in the spring,
Fragrant and fair, a beautiful thing.
But as seasons change, so too does love,
Sometimes growing, sometimes fading above.

Like a bird in flight, love takes to the sky,
Soaring high, reaching for the heavens on high.
But even birds must land and rest,
Love too must pause, and sometimes be blessed.

Like a star in the night, love shines so bright,
Guiding our way through the darkest of plight.
But even stars can fade and wane,
Love too can flicker, causing us pain.

Like a tree in the forest, love stands so tall,
Rooted deep, weathering storms that may befall.
But even trees can be felled by the wind,
Love too can be broken, leaving us thinned.

Like a cloud in the sky, love can drift away,
Disappearing without a trace, come what may.
But even clouds can return with the rain,
Love too can find its way back again.

Like a wave on the ocean, love crashes and roars,
Bringing both joy and sorrow to our shores.
But even waves must recede and subside,
Love too must ebb, with the changing tide.

Like a mountain, love stands firm and strong,
A beacon of hope, against which nothing can wrong.
But even mountains can crumble and fall,
Love too can shatter, beyond repair at all.

Like a sunrise, love paints the sky anew,
Bringing warmth and light to me and to you.
But even sunrises must end with the day,
Love too must close, sometimes come what may.

Yet through all the changes, love’s flame never dies,
It flickers and dances, and forever abides.
For love is eternal, a force beyond time,
A gift from the heavens, forever divine.
