“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding” — Khalil Gibran

My colourless mind,
Eyes through the kaleidoscope,
Myriad hues romping the pain-porch,
Drizzling red,
Raining blue —

Inner storm plays the music,
Sedate body, hue-dancing mind,

Climbing the mountains,
Diving the sea,
Kissing the wild wind,
Embracing the mad flurry
of sand,

In the dream of my dreams
You, a prick of real,
Tracing on crushed timbre
the star trails-
You’re awake like wildflowers,

Aisles strewn with anonymous foot prints,
Drenched in sweaty beads,
Like the wisdom spring Pain-tree grows,
Swaying to the beat,

It blossoms in snow
Shades the sun
Sleeps through spring
Prepares through Autumn’s fun,

When frivolities of ordinary open
coffer to mysteries of the
sorcerer mind,
However fatigued, it takes flight
to land on its own kind —

Keep glowing, fire of the heart
Even you have burnt up all
your ashes,
This cage cannot hold you still —
Creature of the wild, it dashes,
Keep peeping, heart of glass
Even if cracks are but shown,
Maybe, Its time for a song
So, let it be grown,
Never mind dissonance
The cloak the earth has
many times worn —

Penning down pain
To immortalise those ever crackling bones…..

“And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy” — Khalil Gibran

*Image: A Photo frame broke and I kept the glass with the intent to paint, at a time, when I painting almost everything that came my way.So random colours at my will to flex my stiff hands and jettison some stress buildup over prolonged bed ridden days. Just thought right for todays theme “Working through pain”.
