The Reason Why your Most Painful Relationships are the Primary Cue to Your Life’s Purpose

It is probably wiser to see it as a cosmic prank than a cosmic tragedy.

Some consider life as a school for our soul.

I prefer to see it as a cosmic riddle to unveil.

The puzzle to be solved? Remembering and reclaiming the original intent of your soul. The reason why your soul decided to incarnate in this life.

The cues to unveil the riddle? All your life circumstances particularly your intimate relationships.

Why is it a riddle? Because most of your cues’ meanings are veiled. Piercing through the veil takes inner work, patience, courage, and wisdom.

And while you’re at it, why not have fun along the way?

=====

Let me unpack this

Before we came into this life, our soul set a core intention for the life that we intended to experience.

It was the foundation for choosing our parents, the way we would look, the people we would grow up around, the life circumstances in which we would be born, the friendships we would make, the intimate relationships we would experience, … and especially, …

the hardships we would endure.

Yes, it’s a weird cosmic prank.

We opt into a life where we can experience the exact opposite vibration of our ultimate soul’s desire.

As the world we live in is a dimension of duality, experiencing the exact opposite feeling of what we truly desire will give rise to the awareness and experience of what we seek.

For example, imagine that your soul’s original intention is to experience deep trust. You can never understand deep trust unless you would experience deep betrayal.

Through the suffering of deep betrayal, you will slowly learn that what matters most to your soul is learning to trust deeply.

Yes, it’s divinely ironic.

What is the most fertile area to explore this paradox?

Your intimate relationships.

To find out what your original soul intent is, you will need to identify in a very specific way the core feeling that kept repeating itself as a dominant pattern again and again in your intimate relationships.

You might think that you were in a relationship with very different people and had very different experiences and that the relationships ended for different reasons.

But if you were to look deeper, piercing through the veil, you might discover that the core FEELING signature was always the same in all these seemingly differing situations.

It is as if this feeling has been crying for integration.

Over and over, like a broken record.

This core feeling is the thing you came into this life to transform.

It is your main soul purpose in life to use the contrast of that feeling signature to find and become its opposite.

It will almost always feel like the hardest thing for you to align with because to truly experience it you must first immerse yourself in its opposite.

For someone who has felt abandoned and rejected all his or her life, full belonging feels out of reach. It feels like an impossible dream.

For someone who has felt discriminated against all his or her life, justice will always feel out of reach.

For someone who has felt anxious all his or her life, inner peace and calm will feel unthinkable.

But your desire to experience this intended purpose is a desire you cannot deny.

And so, despite the perceived difficulty, you will be moving forever in the direction of this experience. No matter what gets in your way, until you die or until you manifest it in this life.

It’s your deepest soul’s calling.

====

Do you want to start solving the riddle?

1. Consciously recall every significant relationship you have had in your adolescence and adulthood (especially the romantic ones).

2. Now, recall the way you felt when these relationships were beginning to sour and when they failed and ended. See how this is the most familiar frequency you have experienced in this life.

3. Try to crystallize this feeling. Be specific. Look over a large list of emotions to try to find the feeling that most closely describes your core imprint.

4. Now, with the knowledge of this core imprint, use that to become aware of its opposite (use antonyms search).

5. Use that to become aware of what it is that you might be doing here on earth. Keep in mind that what people consider to be the opposite of something, isn’t necessarily the opposite of something for you.

6. Be patient with this process, instead of looking for the answer, let your soul offer it to you. As if it is a bubble rising from the deep water.

And don’t forget,…have fun!
