The Weeds in Your Life Will Not Become Flowers

An empty garden is better than a garden full of dead things

I’ve been staring at my dead garden for weeks. Dried out cucumber plants were hanging over the trellis. Tomato plants with rotten tomatoes were still tied to stakes. I would look at the garden, think about how I should rip everything out, and then go do something else instead.
