I recently shared my entrepreneurial goals and dreams during a group coaching session. And believe me, they were far from final and neat. Can I really do this? I mean, you’re not supposed to reveal raw. Unfinished. Imperfect.

Shhh. I don’t even want to type this out loud because who wants to be IMperfect? Society doesn’t encourage us to show weakness. No, no, triple no.

Flaws don’t have a good image.
Flaws don’t win awards.
Flaws don’t make it on the cover of Forbes magazine, and if they do, you certainly don’t want to be on it.

My plans were messy, and I felt uncomfortable, to say the least — but that’s precisely why I did it.

Exposing plans invites critique. Exposing raw plans is an even bigger invitation for critique, which can feel uncomfortable — or even embarrassing. Who wants to experience those emotions, right? Nobody.

But here’s the thing: vulnerability isn’t about being weak; it’s about being real. And there’s incredible power in that.

When I realized how unsettled I felt about opening up, I dove deeper. There just had to be another way…
