Tonight I Dream

yet again

Madhu
Know Thyself, Heal Thyself

--

Tonight
yet again
I build.

I build
dream-ships
to perch on
and
I draw
open walls
to fly through.
I tear open
the forbidden chest
to let out the elusive.

And in the quiet of the night,
when all seems dead,
the evidently undead,
unbelief
also wakes up.

And in the quiet of the night
when the ghostly comes to haunt,
I steer my ship
plunging into the moonlight
in swarms of celestial dreams.

Tonight
yet again
I dream.

And tonight
yet again
I build.

I thought this would be a nice addition to LC Lynch’s poem below, which I absolutely enjoyed!

Madhu
Know Thyself, Heal Thyself

Dreaming of a million lives and hoping to bump into every one of them with the help of some words.
