Weekend Prompt: Is Self-Love A Burden Before It Becomes A Liberation?

Yes. Unequivocally, yes. At least for me it is. It’s hard to say, “No.” to my family. It’s hard to set and keep those boundaries.

At first it was nearly impossible to keep my door shut. To enforce the ‘Do Not Disturb, Author at Work’ sign on my door. Even today it’s not always easy, especially with a household of thirteen.
