What To Do If You Feel Like the World Is Falling Apart
We have three basic choices
It’s easy to believe the world is falling apart. Every headline is designed to grab our attention and keep us hooked. Storms wreak havoc. Millions of us live in isolation, fear, anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
I used to see many negative things and differences between people rather than seeing goodness and choosing to see similarities. There are always consequences for this way of being and given enough experience; we can change.
Our quality of life depends on how we see ourselves and the world. My experience changed how I saw myself and the world, the resistance I worked through, and how you can.
I wanted to change after I got sick of suffering.
That’s how my significant shift began when I saw myself and the world in a negative light decades ago. I knew it was time to change, so I did my best.
I turned off the television and radio nearly twenty years ago for my sanity. I still scan headlines, read books, watch videos, and stay informed but choose wisely.
It’s fair to say that much of what we see looks ugly. But if we only focus on the worst, that’s all we’ll see.
