Knowledge Park Leadership Group Chairman Andy Shene says the primary objective of the project is to create knowledge economy jobs and attract knowledge economy businesses.

It’s more than just real estate development. It’s almost one square mile starting on Cherry Road on one side of Winthrop University’s campus all the way over to Comporium.”
