Celebrity physicist Brian Cox has welcomed the progress of Manchester at a future technology conference.

Speaking after his packed presentation at the TMRW Conference, the renowned professor spoke of how Manchester had grown during his lifetime, and the importance of todays ‘knowledge economy’.

He said: “It is very important for Manchester to hold events like TMRW because it feeds into that knowledge economy which is the future of our country’s economy.
