In today’s knowledge-based economy, education beyond high school is not optional — it’s essential. The vast majority of jobs today and the future require education beyond high school.

I am the higher education consultant with St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency and the Blue Water College Access Network. I am dedicated to helping students enroll in, and ensuring they are prepared for college. To us, college means any high-quality credential including technical-professional certificates and academic degrees. I constantly see students struggle to change the mindset and rhetoric that they aren’t college material.
