If we aspire to be an innovative knowledge economy we cannot retreat from educating for what we can’t possibly imagine. A bachelor’s graduate is expected to be able to generate solutions to problems that are sometimes complex and unpredictable. Designing appropriate university courses, admissions criteria and graduate outcomes is also a complex and somewhat unpredictable task.
