With assistance from the Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, more companies are venturing into Guangdong, riding on its focus on the knowledge economy and consumerism.

Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Defence Lui Tuck Yew, the SGCC Co-Chairman, said at the seventh council meeting in Guangzhou today: “As Guangdong transforms into a knowledge-based economy, we are partnering them to develop the IP eco-system at Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (SSGKC).”
