Why curiosity feeds me

In times of uncertainty, curiosity is my bread and butter!

I think I was born curious…I have always been the type of kid that wanted to see stuff, do stuff, eat stuff…do and find out new things.

Because of that, I did ballet, jazz, tap dance, belly dance, guitar classes, language classes, pottery, paintings…you name it I tried when I was a kid.

I always heard my grandma saying that I was too curious and as the saying goes “curiosity killed the cat” (which is an awful saying btw). That as her way of saying that I should be careful about where my curiosity would take me.

Well, I can say the curiosity path is not the easiest one since if you are curious you want to always see and try new things which can lead to a huge FOMO (fear of missing out), that is even trigger and worsened by social media.

However, the curiosity path for me is definitely the funniest and happy one.

Because I´m still as curious as I was when I was a kid (even though my 30 something age doesn´t let me do everything I want), I also get into crazy things like sommelier courses, biohacking, biomaterials, gardening, archery classes, and well my startups & innovation projects. If I was not curious I doubt I would be where I am today.

My curiosity is what is saving me during these uncertain times and this quarantine. It makes me watch beer production courses, try wine art, cook crazy recipes…I would be crazy with anxiety if I was not keeping my curious mind busy.

Curiosity feeds me, drives me and keeps my sanity …
