Why you should read “The Design of Everyday Things”

Basics of design theory

Don Norman explains in this book some of the basics of design theory. This book gives to every designer the key knowledge to understand how design speaks to an audience and how to improve what it says to the people. It’s definitely a must read for every beginning designer. But quick notice: it’s not the most fun book to read. It’s insightful but it’s clearly not a novel. You will learn a lot but you will not be entertained.
