A textured career.

Embarking on a job search can be daunting when you consider what you do every day more than “a job”.

When I began my search for a new role a few months ago, I started with what I know about myself — I love being part of a team, I need my work to make an impact on people, and I’m proud of having what I like to call a textured career.

A textured career for me is a curation of interesting experience(s) that have taken me across various industries, connected me with a diverse set of people, and provided me with skills and knowledge that I never could have picked up had I followed a more linear path.

I also started with what’s important to me — the sturdy fabric woven throughout and my drive to be in roles at companies that focus on:

  2. Solid Values
  3. Smart Innovation

On a mission.

With these three simple non-negotiables guiding my way, I started the journey to define the next phase of my textured career.

With every opportunity that presented itself, I continually reminded myself that I wanted to work at a place where I could help people do their best, and feel their best doing it. I wanted to be a part of an organization solving meaningful problems and continually pushing to find a better way than the last.

To be with people who got it, and who got me.
