1. Get a CoinBase Account

The first thing you will need to do is to get some Ethereum (a digital currency) we would recommend setting up a ‘CoinBase’ account as this is the most popular and user friendly site out their. CoinBase change a small fee when you buy any Cryptocurrency a bit like exchange rates when buying dollars or Euros. There are many other exchanges which allow you to purchase and manage cryptocurrencies but we think Coinbase will be the easier for most novice and new users.

Once you have your CoinBase account you are free to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum (ETH). Ethereum is the only currency accepts as we have built using Smart Contracts which run on the Ethereum network and this is the native currency on the blockchain.

Buy some Ethereum via CoinBase

Once you have Ethereum in your account you can buy items using ETH much like cash. With any currency the market changes and its value can rise and and fall.

2. Download an Ethereum Wallet (It’s a bit like PayPal)

With the increase in popularity of cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, several mobile applications have appeared making buying and transferring your Ethereum simpler and faster.

We recommend you download Coinbase Wallet from the App Store or Google Play store.

A CoinBase account and a mobile Ethereum wallet which supports web3.0 are the 2 main things you need to buy Art at the POP-up gallery.

3. Topping up your Wallet

You can transfer your Ethereum from CoinBase to your wallet at any time. We would recommend doing this before you arrive at the gallery. Simply send the amount of Ethereum you wish be spend from your CoinBase account to you Coinbase Wallet ETH address. Their will be a small fee to do this as with most currencies. This should be an instant transaction and will appear in you Trust Wallet balance.

Sending Eth to CoinBase Wallet

Make sure you copy and paste the correct Ethereum wallet address in to the ‘Recipient’ box. If you send it to the wrong address you could loss it.

NEVER; share your private key.

4. Buying art at gallery

Every piece of artwork is available to purchase with Ethereum.

  1. Visit
  2. View the artwork by internationally acclaimed artists
  3. Select the artwork you love.
  4. Click ‘buy now’ — followed by ‘ticking’ the terms of service check box
  5. Click ‘Confirm’ (This will trigger MetaMask or your Mobile Wallet)

Successful purchase YAY!

(Note: you will need to have Enough Ethereum in your TrustWallet for the payment to go through successful.)

5. Owning artwork and digital assets

You can view your account and art collections via All your artwork will appear in your My collections, these will reflect your physical and digital assets purchases. dApp

5. Summary
