As an investor in mission driven startups I have the priviledge to work with some amazing entrepreneurs. One of the most remarkable people that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the past few years is Kiki Freedman @ Hey Jane. She was recently quoted in this article in Fast Company — quote below:
“The Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade in June meant that we had more work than ever in order to best serve our patients and community. At the same time, we were dealing with an immense amount of sadness, anger, and confusion among our patients and internal team. Building a startup is overwhelming under any conditions, but especially in the midst of a history-defining moment. I am incredibly proud of the progress the team has made, the care we have delivered during this pivotal time, and the business we are building.”
KIKI FREEDMAN, COFOUNDER AND CEO OF HEY JANE
One of the many challenges of an entrepreneur is getting attention for your new mission driven startup — for better or worse — attention is not a problem for Hey Jane given their mission. She has successfully navigated the changes in public policy and a hyper-charged political landscape. I’m truly in awe of Kiki on a regular basis. #greatfounder
