Building a fitness App using MERN and some Developer love. :)

Note: This series is as basic as you can get on MERN. So read-along, if you are just diving in!!

Things have been moving in JavaScript world, quite faster than ever. With the flow and type of systems being evolved around JavaScript, it feels like there is no stopping it for at least 5 years. Angular, Nodejs have spread the wings of JavaScript and helped it flew across. Some world class Apps are built around “Var” and “this”

ingMany apps have been built around Mongodb (A Nosql DB), Expressjs (A minimalist framework for creating REST APIs), Angular and Nodejs. If you have dived into JavaScript late, then you may not have used them. No worries, we will go over them, one by one with just one exception!! We will Replace Angular with React and make out stack — MERN

MERN — Mongo Express React Node

We will break into MERN step-by-step. Here is a basic approach I wish to follow. There are many articles, explaining on creating Hello World, Theory around these technologies, how they way work, bench marks. But lets take a long route… Lets build an app, end to end!! and along the route, catch the in-depth technologies and stuff!!

1. Intro to each and every part of MERN! (Consider this has 4 Articles!!)
2. Login and Signup Pages using React
3. Create back-end REST APIs using Nodejs, Express and Mongo.
4. Create Navigation in App
5. Home page for Fitness app
6. Beatifications and adding features to App
7. Securing the API and API Calls.
8. Deployment of Nodejs and Mongo servers in AWS/Heroku
