We have two upcoming transitions on our exchange — Tron (TRX) and EOS. TRX is migrating from ERC20 protocol to their own public blockchain — vOdyssey 2.0 on May 31 2018.

Swap dates

TRX swap date : June 21, 2018 — June 25, 2018

EOS swap date is yet to be announced. (We will update the blog whenever the official date is announced)

At Koinex, we are supporting the migration of both these tokens (TRX and EOS). Users holding these tokens in their Koinex wallets will receive the migrated tokens.

Steps to follow for TRX Migration

Ensure that you deposit your TRX tokens to your Koinex TRX wallet 24 hours before the migration begins.

Steps to follow for EOS Swap

Ensure that you deposit your EOS tokens to your Koinex EOS wallet 24 hours before the swap begins.

Note

TRX and EOS withdrawals and deposits will be halted for the duration of the swap.

After depositing the tokens on the exchange as mentioned above, you can continue your trading activity. Withdrawals for these tokens will resume after the migration is complete.

Q. Are you supporting EOS mainnet launch and swap / TRON migration ?

A. Yes we are supporting the migration and swap of EOS and TRON.

Q. What will happen to my EOS / TRX tokens ?

A. Your EOS / TRON tokens will be replaced with the swapped tokens. You are required to hold the tokens in your Koinex wallet and we will take care of the swap for you.

Q. What do I have to do at the time of the migration ?

A. Once you have deposited your token to the exchange platform, we take care of everything else for you.

Q. Can I withdraw my tokens during the swap/ migration ?

A. Withdrawals will be halted for the duration of the swap. After the migration is complete, withdrawals will resume to normal.

Q. Do I need to register on the dedicated page on the EOS website for participating in the swap ?

Should I move my tokens outside the exchange to a wallet ?

A. You do not need to register on the dedicated page or move your tokens elsewhere as your tokens are safe with Koinex. We will take care of the swap for you and your Koinex wallet will hold your swapped tokens once it is complete.
