Books you need for a new year

A new year is quickly approaching and as we wrap up another year, it's exciting to have something to look forward to after the holiday season. Over the last several years, I’ve been increasing my reading goals to expand my literary footprint. Whether you’re an avid reader or an occasional reader, one book per month is an easy goal to set. If the thought of putting together a list of to be read books sounds daunting, there’s no need to worry because I’ve done it for you! Here is my list of 12 books that every Woman of Faith should read in 2022.

  1. Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin — If you’ve always wanted to improve your relationship with Scripture, this book will give you that instant spark of motivation! Jen beautifully shares practical steps for you to dig deeper into the Bible.
  2. Just Enough Light for the Step I’m On by Stormie Omartian — If you’re still feeling overwhelmed from 2020, this is a wonderful book to shine some light on your journey and can easily be incorporated through one chapter each day.
  3. Hope Heals by Katherine and Jay Wolfe — This is not a story that you are ready for, but it is a story that will challenge your faith. Katherine and Jay’s story of pain and healing is still being lived out and you can follow their ongoing story of hope on…
