This morning, I prayed as usual to help someone today.

On my way home, tired from a doctor’s appointment, I saw a pedestrian along the cotton fields. He accepted a ride. I drove while my brother sat with him and heard his story.

This person God chose was not a burdened lady, but a young, homeless, jobless man estranged from family — out of my comfort zone. We were home over an hour late, but I couldn’t help being grateful to God that we were there.

Tonight, another name joins my prayer list. Tomorrow, you do not know whom God will place on yours.
