Years ago, before a move I didn’t know would happen, I started having a recurring dream that our family moved into a house where the previous owners left furniture and other things we needed.

In 2007, we bought a house, and this dream came true. The owners left us furniture, a riding lawn mower, garden pots and tools, kitchen items, and more.

Once we moved into that house, that dream stopped visiting me.

Some years later, after several downsizing moves, I began to experience this dream again.

In 2022, we moved into a much smaller house after living full-time in an RV. We had sold all our furniture, so we needed a furnished home.

Our new home had a bed, mattress, sheets, quilt, living room furniture, bookcases, a desk, cabinets, rugs, dishes, and more. We were able to move right in.

Dreams during sleep can hold special meaning

We like to say, “Dreams do come true,” when we talk about our vision for our lives and the hard work we put into getting there, such as buying our dream home, finding a soulmate, or landing the dream job.
