Hey guys — this is the third post I’ve written in this mini-series about the blessings and benefits of keeping a spiritual journal.

First, I offered four awesome reasons to start a spiritual journal and last week I suggested another four awesome reasons.

Be sure to check out those other posts alongside this story.

Wrapping up this mini-series, here are YET ANOTHER three awesome reasons to start and keep a spiritual journal.

1. Journalling helps us keep track of prayers

Has this ever happened to you? You get asked to pray for someone — and, of course, you readily agree!

It’s a great privilege to get asked to pray for someone. As a Christian, you are thrilled and honoured.

Then, a week later, you hear that person mentioned in conversation — and realise that their prayer need had gone right out of your head!

Whoops!

It’s all too easy, with our busy schedules, to simply forget stuff. It happens. But it’s less likely to happen when you write those prayer needs in your prayer journal.
