Soursop is my best fruit!
Though messy to eat, I just love the combination of its sweet and tangy taste.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me. (Matt 16:24, AMP)
The scripture in Matthew sounds scary, but it is our reality. As Christians, we are excited with the messages of prosperity and joy, but cringe at the ones with pain and suffering.
It is our ability, however, to accept all sides of the coin that shows that we truly love Jesus.
