God ideas never require compromise

As I studied the recommended scriptures I found this one, James 1:17, captured my eye.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (NIV)

I remember a song with this verse — “Father of lights”.

“Father of Lights” by Vineyard

You delight in your children.
Every good and perfect gift comes from You.
You have no turning.

Things to remember

God delights in us.
When we are given choices don’t compromise.
Go where God tells you.
Trust Him.

Don’t listen to your own desires but listen to God’s.

“Our natural tendency is to be self-seeking, and when we follow this tendency, we always end at a compromise of our beliefs.” ~Troy Black

Take time to pray and listen

But then walk out in faith.

May I pray for you and me?

We trust You. We know You love us and want what’s best for us. Help us to learn to listen to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Blessings,
Janis
