Our February 2025 word prompt (#28) was suggested by Koinonia editor and writer, Gordon McFarland. Thanks, Gordon!

The word Contrition means: (from Merriam-Webster.com)

  • a state of repentance for misdeeds and moral shortcomings

I should be pretty easy for you to think up a suitable story idea for our February word prompt. You can likely find biblical application if you wish to take that approach. It’s up to you!

I’ve been wondering what 2025 will look like in my writing and spiritual lives. How about you?

Just follow the rules below.

“For your born writer, nothing is so healing as the realization that he has come upon the right word.”
— Catherine Drinker Bowen
