Would you embrace today?

Time, they say, flies when we’re having fun.
But the truth is, days or time spent can never be regained.
Yes, we can try to make up for what we missed on another day.
But each day comes with its own obligation.
Time spent, forever gone!
What are you expected to do today that you have kept for another day?
The phone call that makes your heart beat so fast.
The family trip you have moved from year to year for lack of funds.
The course you have postponed for lack of time.
The book you would like to write,
Or simply, a deeper walk with God.
What if tomorrow never comes?
Would it hurt doing it today?
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalms 90:12, NIV)
