Is Satan Trying to Derail God’s Work? (He Won’t Win the Battle!)
The devil loves to throw roadblocks, but God always has the final say
Lately, it seems the enemy is targeting our RVICS family at full force. As members of Roving Volunteers in Christ’s Service, my husband and I travel in our motorhome to help Christian camps, schools, and churches, and lately, we’ve seen just how much the enemy tries to derail that work.
Illnesses and breakdowns have sidelined many volunteers. Projects have been canceled. Is it just a coincidence?
Not when everything hits at once. This feels like a spiritual showdown. Satan wants to stop us, but God’s purpose will prevail.
Our own roadblocks
Tommy and I have had our share of setbacks on the road. If you’ve been a subscriber for a while, you’ve probably read about a few. I’ll share some at the end of this post.
Looking back, I can see how God was always working, sometimes giving us rest, other times opening doors we never would have walked through otherwise.
