Again, Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21, NIV)

Me: Are you speaking to me, Lord, or to only the disciples?

Jesus: Yes, I am speaking to you.

Me: I can’t do it, Lord. I have no skills and no voice. I am a nobody. Who would listen to me?

Jesus: You have me in you, do you not?

Me: Yes.

Jesus: Did not my Father use a young lad named David with just a slingshot?

Me: Yes.

Jesus: Did I not use a boy’s lunch to feed 5,000?

Me: Yes.

Jesus: Did I use twelve simple men to further my Kingdom?

Me: Yes.

Jesus: Then why not you?

Me: (Silence).

Jesus: Remember this:

Christ gave each one of us a special gift. Everyone received what He wanted to give them. (Ephesians 4:6–7, ERV)

Jesus: Have I given you a special gift, no matter how small it seems?

Me: Yes.

Jesus: Do you love me, Jenny?

Me: Yes, Lord. You know all things.

Jesus: Then feed my sheep.
