Why would a big God be mindful of little old me?

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? (Psalm 8:3–4, NIV)

This big, beautiful world has more sights than my old eyes will ever see. The scenery, colors, and sounds make me gasp in wonderment.

How can a God, who created all, be conscious of a little lady typing on her computer in her closet?

Yet, our Father perceives everything about us, including the number of hairs on our heads. Most importantly, He loves us.

God is mindful of me, Jenny!

He is mindful of you, too.

God created us a little lower than the angels and crowned us with glory — God’s glory. Are we in awe that we are precious to Him?

When you think no one cares or listens, trust that the God of truth is right by your side every minute and every day. He is speaking to your heart.

Do you hear Him?

Prayer:

Thank you, Father God, for being constantly mindful of each one of us. Amen.
