Could you use a reset button?
Enjoy the Lord, and he will give what your heart asks. Commit your way to the Lord! Trust him! He will act and will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like high noon (Psalm 37:4–6, AMP)
There are things I have done in my life that I wish I could take back, redo, or start over. Until Doc Brown masters time travel with his fancy car in the movie Back to the Future, I don’t see that happening.
Where is my reset button?
Well, guess what? I do have one, and so do you. We may be unable to time travel, but our reset is only a prayer away. When we go to God, tell Him our mistakes, and seek forgiveness, He instantly hits our reset button.
We may suffer the consequences of our actions, but forgiveness is not partial but in totality. Enjoy the Lord’s benefits and wait patiently for His justice to bring you into His righteousness.
Do you need a reset, do-over, or clean slate? Go to the Lord and ask.
Prayer:
I am deeply sorry, Lord, for all the evil things I have done. Please forgive me and give me a fresh start. Thank you for never giving up on me. Amen.
